Standard rate: I charge an hourly rate of $85.00/hour for line editing, developmental editing, and other services.

Rush rate: I usually schedule anywhere from 3-10 weeks out. However, I understand that sometimes clients have imminent deadlines and I am willing to work with you if that is the case. There is a 50% surcharge for rush jobs that require me to work overtime.

To calculate a rough estimate of the time required to edit your work, use the following guide (a page is 12-point font, double spaced or approximately 250 words):
Substantive line editing: approximately 4 pages per hour (2-3 pages per hour if the manuscript needs extensive editing)
