Rates

Standard rate: I charge an hourly rate of $85.00/hour for editing and other services.

Book manuscript rate: Please contact me for an estimate

Rush rate: I usually schedule anywhere from 3-10 weeks out. However, I understand that sometimes clients have imminent deadlines and I am willing to work with you if that is the case. There is a 50% surcharge for rush jobs that require me to work overtime.

To calculate a rough estimate of the time required to edit your work, use the following guide (a page is 12-point font, double spaced or approximately 250 words):
Basic editing: approximately 4 pages per hour
Extended editing: 2-3 pages per hour

If you need a more specific estimate for your project, please contact me. If you need to stick to a specific budget, I'll be happy to work with you to keep the project within your budget requirements.

Clients may pay via Zelle, check, Venmo, or PayPal.

A Note for Non-native English Speakers

As an ESL writer you face the significant challenge of writing in a non-native language. In some cases, editing the writing of non-native English speakers may take longer than my usual estimate. Please let me know if you have questions about which level of editing is appropriate for your project.
